Aeon was founded in 2023 by three seasoned finance lawyers: Jeff Livingston, Ryan Foster, and Tom Higier. They have extensive experience in the banking industry and are shareholders in the law firm Higier Allen & Lautin, P.C.

Our Team

Jeff Livingston, Co-Founder & President

Jeff is a 20 year banking / commercial real estate attorney that has a passion for technology, and doing things more efficiently. During the 10+ years he was drafting loan docs “manually” at big law firms, he couldn’t help but think that there must be a way that tech could dramatically speed it up. In 2023, he teamed up with Ryan Foster and Tom Higier (two of his great partners at Higier Allen & Lautin, P.C.) to develop software that does exactly that.

Jeff attended Texas A&M, has an economics degree from UH, and a law degree from SMU.

Jeff lives in East Dallas with his wife Amy and daughter Lauren. He likes cheering on Lauren’s rowing team, swimming, running, triathlons, Aggie football, and F1.

Ryan Foster, Co-Founder & Vice-President

Ryan is a seasoned transactional attorney with 20 years of experience; his undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A&M, and his law degree from Texas Tech. Throughout his years of practice, he has sought to bring a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset, and as a result recognized the need for faster, more accurate legal document production. His contributions have helped streamline legal workflows, reduce turnaround times, and enhance service delivery. He continues to bridge the gap between traditional legal practice and emerging technology – driving innovation one solution at a time.

Outside of the office, Ryan is a proud husband and dad to three daughters that keep him on his toes with their busy schedules and love for sports – including softball and soccer. Whether he is negotiating at the table, or cheering from the sidelines; he brings dedication, focus and heart into everything he does.

James Dougherty, Chief Customer Officer

Jim has 20 years of experience in building and managing successful SaaS software start-ups. By deploying proven GTM strategies and focusing on Sales Process Improvement (SPI), Jim has a track record driving significant revenue growth and client retention.

For the past 10 years, Jim has worked with numerous software companies in the legal tech space fostering strong relationships with both corporate legal teams and outside counsel.

Tom Higier, Founder & Vice-President

Tom has represented numerous banks and institutional lenders over his 40+ years of practicing law, from community banks to large money center banks, and has been involved with all kinds of commercial lending transactions, In that time Tom has seen the increasing need to streamline the loan closing process and standardize loan documentation when possible, and has witnessed the ongoing blending of the legal services required to close commercial loans with the evolving technology utilized by banks to underwrite, process, document, close and book commercial loans on the bank’s core. Aeon is the result of our efforts to create a tool to facilitate commercial loan closings within our law firm, and has now been expanded to be of general utility to banks who process commercial loans internally, other law firms with lending practices, and business enterprises who regularly process transactions involving multiple data sources into transaction documents which following closing need to be tracked and monitored on an ongoing basis.

When not working or playing with his grandkids, Tom fantasizes about being a F1 race car driver, being able to hit a straight golf shot, and developing a green thumb.

Amy Allen, Director of Client Success

Amy brings over 18 years of experience in commercial banking, with a strong focus on loan documentation, lending, and servicing. She has spent the past three years at Higier Allen Lautin P.C., where she plays a key role in supporting the firm’s Laser Pro documentation program.

Amy is known for her deep industry knowledge and unwavering commitment to client success. Her dedication to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction has made her a trusted resource for both colleagues and clients alike.

Srinivas Alladi, Chief Technology Officer

Srinivas Alladi is a visionary Chief Technology Officer with over two decades of experience leading the design, development, and delivery of high-performance SaaS platforms across finance, legal, telecom, logistics, and energy sectors. His work has enabled organizations to process billions in daily transactions, reduce operational costs, and scale rapidly with resilient, secure, and AI-driven architectures.

A multi-patented inventor and proven team builder, Srinivas has guided cross-functional engineering groups through complex transformations—accelerating product timelines, improving data intelligence, and embedding automation at scale. His strengths lie in fusing deep technical knowledge with business strategy to drive outcomes that matter.

With a relentless focus on innovation, speed, and sustainable growth, he brings clarity, momentum, and technical depth to every stage of the product lifecycle.
